These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between Archi‑Schola (“we”, “our”, “us”) and you (“you”, “the student”) when you register for and participate in our online courses or classes. By enrolling, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent/guardian if you are under 18. You are responsible for ensuring you have the equipment, software, and internet connection needed to take part.

2. Course Content and Access: We will provide access to course materials and live sessions as described in the course information. All course materials are for your personal learning only. You may not copy, share, or distribute them without our permission. We may update course content to improve quality or accuracy and will notify you of significant changes.

3. Student Projects: You may be asked to submit project work as part of your learning. You retain full ownership of your project work. By default, you agree that we may use excerpts of your work (such as images or small fragments) to promote our services on archi-schola.com or related channels. You can opt out of promotional use at any time by emailing admin@schola.org, and we will stop using your work in future materials

4. Payments and Fees: Fees are clearly stated on our website or in our communications before you register. Payment must be made in full before the course starts unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to withhold access to course materials if payment is not received.

5. Cancellations and Refunds: You have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase under UK consumer law, provided the course has not already been fully delivered or started with your agreement. To cancel, email courses@schola.org within 14 days of purchase. After the 14‑day period, or once the course has started with your consent, fees are generally non‑refundable unless we cancel the course.

6. Your Conduct: You agree to participate respectfully and not engage in disruptive or abusive behaviour in live sessions or online forums. We reserve the right to remove a student from a course if behaviour breaches these Terms. In serious cases, we may do so without a refund.

7. Intellectual Property: All course materials, slides, recordings, and other content remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated. You may download and use materials for personal learning only. You may not reproduce or share them without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability: We provide courses with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for technical issues outside our control (for example, your internet connection) or for any loss of work due to your own equipment failure. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under UK consumer law or excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Data Protection: We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. By enrolling, you confirm that you have read and understood how we collect and use your data.

10. Changes to These Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes and make the latest version available on [archi-schola.com].

11. Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
